How one-way pricing works
An outstation cab quoted the traditional way assumes the vehicle drives home again, so a 150 km trip is billed closer to 300 km. A one-way drop is billed for the distance you travel plus the driver allowance, with toll, permit and parking at actuals.
That is only possible if somebody is planning vehicles around traffic in both directions — which is what 1WAYDROP does. Every route on this site exists twice, once per direction, precisely so the vehicle heading back has a paying passenger too.

What is a one-way taxi?
A cab booked for a single leg — you are dropped at your destination and the vehicle does not wait or return with you. Because the return kilometres are not billed to you, it costs less than an outstation round trip.
Is a one-way taxi cheaper than a round trip?
For a single journey, yes — often substantially. A round-trip quote prices both legs whether you travel them or not.
